Electron to Market is a fictional, educational utility-operations simulation. It is built for corporate workshops and training discussion. It is not legal, financial, engineering, regulatory, investment, ratemaking, market-trading, reliability-planning, or operational advice.

Truth-in-Advertising Notice

All game assets, budgets, outage risks, fuel prices, market prices, revenue, penalties, scores, cutscenes, and results are simplified fictional training mechanics. They are designed to teach tradeoffs, not to predict actual utility performance, customer rates, fuel procurement outcomes, market revenues, regulatory treatment, or reliability events.

No claim on this site should be read as a promise of business, financial, operating, reliability, customer, regulatory, or educational results.

Advertising, Sponsorships, and Endorsements

This site currently does not display paid ads, affiliate links, sponsored placements, paid reviews, testimonials, or third-party endorsements. If any sponsored content, affiliate relationship, testimonial, or material connection is added later, it should be clearly identified near the related claim or link.

References to utility technologies, fuels, assets, or operating practices are for simulation context only and are not endorsements of any company, vendor, product, fuel, or policy position. Do not create fake reviews, fake ratings, fake endorsements, or undisclosed paid promotion for this site.

Privacy Summary

The game does not require an account, payment, email address, login, or backend database. Game saves are stored in your browser using localStorage on your device. That saved data may include the game name, facilitator name, seed, selected options, and simulated game results.

You can clear the saved game with the in-game Reset control or by clearing browser storage for this site.

Cloudflare Services

The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, request metadata, cookies or similar identifiers, security signals, and analytics events to provide hosting, DNS, security, bot/challenge protection, and web analytics.

The site owner uses this information to keep the site available, understand aggregate usage, and protect against abuse. Do not enter sensitive personal information into game-name, facilitator-name, or workshop fields.

Children's Privacy

Electron to Market is intended for adults, employees, facilitators, and workplace training groups. It is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the site to collect, enter, or store personal information from children.

If you plan to use the site with children under 13, do not collect personal information and get legal review first. If you believe child personal information was entered into a saved game or otherwise made available through this site, clear the browser save immediately and report the concern without posting the child's personal information publicly.

Data Sharing

The app itself does not sell personal information and does not send saved game content to a custom server. Technical hosting/security/analytics data may be processed by Cloudflare as described above. If you voluntarily submit feedback through GitHub, that information is handled by GitHub according to GitHub's own terms and privacy practices.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and uses security headers including a Content Security Policy, HSTS, frame protection, content-type protection, referrer controls, and a restrictive permissions policy. No security measure is perfect, so avoid entering confidential, regulated, or sensitive information into the game.

Corrections and Concerns

If you see a statement that seems inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or missing a needed disclosure, report it through the project issue page. GitHub issues are public, so do not include confidential, regulated, personal, or child information. Include the page or screen, the text at issue, why it may be misleading, and any suggested correction.

Retention, Deletion, and Choices

Saved game data remains in localStorage until the browser deletes it or you remove it. Use Reset in the game to clear the saved session, or clear this site's browser storage. The site cannot delete localStorage from other browsers or devices you control.

Cloudflare technical logs and analytics are controlled by Cloudflare's services and settings. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and Cloudflare settings may affect analytics or challenge scripts.

No FTC or Regulator Approval

The site does not claim certification, approval, review, endorsement, or authorization by the FTC, FERC, NERC, any state utility commission, Cloudflare, GitHub, any utility, or any industry body.
